My grandfather who was slipped while walking and had a spinal injury, because of the happening his both legs got impaired and the motor function(movement of legs) was affected. This medical condition of non movement of legs, toes, feet could be consolidated to a condition called Paraplegia.
My grandpa got admitted at hospital and he was given Internal medicines, Pathiyam, Panchakarma treatment, Abiyangam, Fomentation and Special Navarakizhi massage treatment. Simultaneously, incorporating this we do provided some Physiotherapy activities like Traction and GAIT unweight walking style. Also at some spots Varmakalai treatment had been given.
He was admitted in the hospital for 64 days of treatment with improvements and eventually he got affected by Alzheimer disease, a Psychological problem because of long stay inside a single room and was unable to co-operate well for the treatment.
After the discharge, he was able to make walk with walker support and advised to come back after 10 ten days for further cure.
Thanks to Dr. Anto, for his kind help both physically and mentally and the Therapists for supporting things.

My uncle got hit in a post at the head before 3 years. After this incident, slowly his activities in the left side starts depleting. Finally, while surfing in google found there is a remedy for stroke / paralysis in the Siddha medicine. Doctors confirmed its Trauma induced Stroke / Hemiplegia. He had these symptoms all over left half of the body like muscle weaknesses, tough to fold the fingers, his shoulder got depressed down, lifting the leg was partial with knee pain, also a sharp pointing pain in the head area.
Doctor suggested a 10 days treatment would be needed with Internal medicines, Special Kizhi with fomentation, Abiyangam and diet control of only vegetarian food without salt (Pathiyam) for 7 days, lastly supported with an egg under left armpit for 3 days to keep position of shoulder.
After the treatment, he was able to bow down easily, an improved walking style etc. During discharge, he was insisted to take one medicine, walking and few aerobic exercises.

I met with an accident in 2007. I had undergone many catastrophic like surgeries in C1 and C2 bones of Cervical region, Femur (upper leg bones) fracture, Thalamotomy (in the Head) and I was struggling hard to lead my normal life due to severity of surgeries. I got wedded at 2014 and I had done consultations with Modern medicine for 5 yrs., Homeopathy medicine for 2 yrs., Ayurveda for 1 yr. but none worked out and my condition still got worse.
Later we were opinionated with the medicine of Siddha, our oldest system of medicine from our friends and relatives. Now my physical condition is excellent and I am able to do each and every task on my own.
